The rumors as to who would be the next Bond girl have been put to rest with this mornings Bond announcment of SKYFALL. We now know that French actress Berenice Marlohe (skipping the accents) will be Bond’s next lady friend.
Who exactly is Berenice Marlohe? Marlohe is mostly an unknown actress and model both in the US and abroad. Her IMDB biography has two entries with one being that she was just cast as the Bond girl in SKYFALL. The other notes that she made appearances on French TV shows “Père et maire,” “R.I.S. Police scientifique” and “Équipe médicale d’urgence”.
In the film, Marlohe will play a “glamourous, enigmatic character” named Severin. Glamorous and enigmatic? Sounds like every Bond girl doesn’t it?
